Underneath The Surface
Alone with my thoughts
That’s a dangerous place to be
There’s more than what you see on the surface
Most people are blind and cannot see
There’s a darkness dwelling inside
One that I cannot control
You may call me crazy
It’s just the darkness taking over my soul
Inside I’m screaming out for help
Outside there’s no one there
I reach my hand out to you
Knowing you’ll never truly care
Alone with my thoughts
I’m slowly dying on the inside
Poison slowly drifting through my veins
I can at least say I tried
To rid myself of these disease
What must I do?
To make my sky blue again
All I need is you
