Broken promises
Broken dreams
Broken hearts
You once said we would never be apart
You once said you would never break my heart
It seems as though times have now changed
They’re meaningless, those silly promises we exchanged
You had no control, someone else has captured your eye
At least you cared enough to say goodbye
You have done something you said you’d never do
Spoken words “I’m falling out of love with you”
Right then my world was completely destroyed
In all honesty I was a little bit annoyed
I started feelings things I never knew were there
I kept thinking to myself how the hell is this fair
You have hurt me far beyond belief
Such a conniving little thief
You stole my heart, that was never planned
Then burned it, I just didn’t understand
